Bloody Mary Smoothie

Tomatoes are popularly known a a good source of lycopene. Lycopene have antioxidant properties which helps improve bone health and reduce heart risks and complications. Tomatoes also have anti-cancer properties. That makes this Bloody Mary Smoothie for the Nutribullet quite healthy.

This nutribullet blast emulates a Bloody Mary. In fact, you could add Vodka to it if you wished and make an actual Bloody Mary. The recipe uses Sriracha to make it spicy. If you like your Bloody Mary mild, leave it out. You can also use Tabasco instead.  

For fun, you can garnish this with things like celery, olives, pickles, bell pepper slices, or other veggies.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups of low sodium tomato juice, chilled
  • 1 small tomato
  • 1 cup cucumber, pared and chopped
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. Sriracha sauce
  • 2 tsp. worcestershire sauce
  • 5 ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients into the NutriBullet and blend until smooth.
