Pumpkin Orange Spiced Smoothie

This Pumpkin and orange spiced smoothie is great for fall but works well any time of year as well.

The orange in the smoothie gives extra sweetness and tang to the recipe, while nutmeg and cinnamon adds a hint of spice. While the recipe includes orange slices, you can modify the recipe to omit that and use only orange juice. You can also substitute pumpkin pie spice for the nutmeg and cinnamon if desired. 

This smoothie can be made in any blender. If using a Nutribullet, instead of measuring the liquid, simply add the juice to the fill line.

Ingredients

  • 1 orange, peeled and separated
  • 4 ounces natural orange juice
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 6 ice cubes
  • Water to fill line

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients into the NutriBullet or blender.
  2. If using a Nutribullet, add liquid to the fill line.
  3. Blend until smooth.
