Oatmeal Banana Smoothie

Oatmeal is a great way to achieve good health because it has so many benefits to offer you. It boosts the immune system, prevents diabetes, stabilizes blood sugar, rich in antioxidants, reduces the risk of hypertension, lowers cholesterol, and so much more. This smoothie is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, vit C with 149% DV, Vit E at 51% DV and 21% DV of vit A. All these vitamins and minerals combined make it a potent anti-oxidant.

Oatmeal is also a great way to get fiber and whole grains in your diet. As a runner, I like this smoothie for after a run as it helps restore muscle glycogen and also has some protein for muscle building and recovery. As a dieter, this is a good breakfast or meal replacement smoothie.
