This pear and apple smoothie contains more than 25% of your RDA of Vitamin-B12 and 28% of the RDA of calcium, providing both a healthy boost of energy and essential support for healthy bones. You’ll also get more fiber than in two slices of whole wheat bread. Apple seeds can be toxic when ground, so keep the peel and lose the seeds before blending. this is already a low cal smoothie, but you can make it even lighter by using skim milk instead of coconut milk.

Would anybody know how to prepare the Chia Seeds before making the smoothie?

It is best to soak chia seeds for at least 10 minutes before using them. They can also be soaked overnight. You can also buy ground chia, which does not need any preparation.
