A healthy detox and antioxidant smoothie with beets, ginger, and carrot
  • 8 baby carrots
  • ½ apple
  • ½ beet
  • 1 TB chopped ginger root
  • 3 ice cubes
  • Water to the fill line
  1. Cut apple into chunks, removing seeds
  2. Cut beet into chunks
  3. Chop ginger root into small peices
  4. Combine ingredients in the Nutribullet, add water to the fill line, and blend.

  1. No offense, but this was horrible. Proof that the NutriBullet cannot take the place of a juicer. Or of a juicer, great recipe. NutriBullet, no.

    • The Nutribullet has never held itself out to take the place of a juicer or be akin to a juicer. It is a blender. Thus, it leaves the fiber, pulp, etc. from the ingredients in the drink. Anyone who wants “juice” should purchase a juicer instead of a Nutribullet or other blender. Personally, I have uses for both and tend to prefer a blender, which preserves the fiber from fruit. But that is a subjective choice and obviously everyone will have their own preferences. Anyway, comparing the drinks from juicers to those from blenders is a bit of a fallacy since they produce different things. It is like comparing apples to oranges.
