The recipes on this site are formulated for the Nutribullet. However, you can easily convert them to other systems or blenders such as the Ninja or Vitamix. Each recipe here is aimed at making about 16 ounces. Aside from liquid,use the same amount of ingredients for any blender or system. The only thing you might need to change is the liquid.
Liquid in these recipes are “to the max line” or “to the fill line” because the Nutribullet uses a pre-calculated line for measuring. In other systems, use its fill line or max line if it has one. If not, normally between 1/2 cup and 1 cup of liquid will get the same results. Start with 1/2 cup and add more as needed in order to get proper blending. It is that simple!
Note that cheap blenders often will not be able to handle recipes with nuts, seeds, skins, and some leafy vegetables. To make green drinks, or smoothies with vegetables, a higher quality blender such as the Nutribullet, Vitamix, or Ninja is recommended.
